The invention discloses a battery box stopping mechanism of an electric vehicle. The battery box stopping mechanism comprises a sliding block assembly and a pushing block assembly. One assembly is installed on a battery box inner body, and the other assembly is installed on an outer frame. The sliding block assembly comprises a telescopic sliding block, a wedge-shaped plane A forming an inclined angle with the telescopic direction of the sliding block is arranged on the telescopic sliding block, and a wedge-shaped plane B matched with the wedge-shaped plane A is arranged on the pushing block. When the battery box inner box and an outer frame are installed, the wedge-shaped plane A and the wedge-shaped plane B are bonded. The battery box stopping mechanism of the electric vehicle is simple in structure, convenient to use and maintain and capable of reliably removing a gap between the battery box inner box and the outer frame, avoiding shaking of the battery box inner box and ensuring using stability of batteries.
