The invention discloses a temperature control method for molding equipment used in glass substrate production. The temperature control method adopts an excess flow device for changing a flowing direction and distribution of a glass liquid, a housing for supporting the excess flow device and a cooling device for cooling the housing of the excess flow device. Through utilizing a cooling system at middle and upper areas of the housing of the molding equipment to adjust the upper-low temperature difference of the excess flow device and middle and upper temperatures of the excess flow device in a molding process, the temperature control method improves a service life of the excess flow device and the molding quality of a liquid crystal glass substrate.
