Provided is a liquid crystal/polymer composite comprising: a liquid crystal material which presents a blue phase; a polymer which supports the liquid crystal material using a dendrimer-type structure formed from dendrimer-type units, wherein 2 or more atoms having a branched structure bond with a central atom and the order is 2 or greater, and polymer units, wherein polymer groups bond to the termini of the bonds of the dendrimer-type units and bond to other polymer groups; and a chiral agent which is present in the spaces of the liquid crystal material and controls the orientation of the liquid crystal material.
