The invention discloses a whole network wind electric power forecasting algorithm for a power grid based on the technology of a statistical rising scale. The relevance between output wind electric power of each wind electric field and output wind electric power of whole network wind electric power by combining wind electric field power historical data which a power grid whole network comprises and whole network wind electric power historical data, and the forecasting precision of the wind electric field is analyzed; the wind electric field which has high relevance with the whole network wind electric power and relatively high wind electric power forecast precision is selected as a representative wind electric field; a whole network wind electric power forecast value is calculated according to a weight coefficient of each representative wind electric field and forecast wind electric power; a power grid scheduling department can forecast the whole network wind electric power under the condition that only partial wind electric field finishes the wind electric power forecast function to make a morrow power generation plan according to a whole network forecast result; and the power grid scheduling mode is optimized within a whole network range.
