The invention discloses a probe for inspecting the vortex of an anti-pressure shell of a control rod driving mechanism in a CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research) nuclear power station. The probe comprises a probe body, a probe support frame, a rotating shaft, a drive motor and a group of shrapnels, wherein the probe body is positioned at the front end part of the probe; the probe support frame is positioned at the rear part of the probe body and comprises an inner chamber; the rotating shaft is rotatably connected with the probe support frame; the drive motor is used for driving the rotating shaft to rotate and comprises a motor shaft; the shrapnels are arranged at the two sides of the probe support frame and are used for supporting the probe support frame; one end of the rotating shaft is fixedly connected with the probe body; the rotating shaft is fixed with the motor shaft; the rotating shaft and the drive motor are positioned in the inner chamber; the probe support frame is arranged at the front end part of the probe body, so that the probe can be used for detecting the welding seam to be inspected, wherein the welding seam is approximate with a blind hole; through the support action of the probe support frame on the probe body, the probe can cross the groove-shaped notch on a lining in a hook unit of the control rod driving mechanism; and as the probe body can be rotated relative to the probe support frame, the inspection on the whole circumference of the welding seam can be completed in no need of providing extra motion free degree.
