The invention relates to an anti-theft device, in particular to a front-edge board anti-theft device for escalators, which comprises a truss, a front-edge board arranged at the upper end of the truss, a fixing frame and an anti-theft device body. The fixing frame is installed at one end of the truss, and the anti-theft device body is arranged on the fixing frame. The front-edge board anti-theft device for escalators utilizes the anti-theft device body for preventing the front-edge board from being stolen, simultaneously can sense whether the front-edge board is installed accurately and can protect safety of personnel.
