Provided is an input apparatus provided with a touch sensor (11) for accepting input; a load detector (12) for detecting a press load against a touch surface of the touch sensor (11); a touch sensation exhibition unit (13) for vibrating the touch surface; and a controller (15) for controlling driving of the touch sensation exhibition unit (13) so as to exhibit a click sensation to an object that is pressing the touch surface (pressing object) when a press load detected by the load detector (12) satisfies a criterion for exhibiting the touch sensation. As a result, when an operator operates the touch sensor, a touch sensation of a real click similar to when a push-button switch is operated is exhibited.
