The invention discloses a flexible shaft/joint coupling assembly which comprises a flexible shaft (1) and a joint (5), which are mutually connected. The coupling assembly further comprises an external bowl piece (2) and an internal bowl piece (3), which both have a center bore; the internal bowl piece (3) is fixed on the joint (5), the external bowl piece (2) is sleeved on the internal bowl piece (3), a spherical fit is formed between the external bowl piece (2) and the internal bowl piece (3), and the flexible shaft (1) is fixed in the joint (5) after passing through the center bores of the external bowl piece (2) and the internal bowl piece (3). Compared to the prior art, the flexible shaft/joint coupling assembly provided in the invention enables the phenomenon of stress concentration occurred at the joint and caused by the flexible shaft during the process of motion to be avoided, thereby improving the service life of the flexible shaft.
