A solar battery module is provided with a solar battery panel (20) wherein solar battery cells, including a transparent substrate, are arranged; a reinforcing frame (3) arranged on the rear surface of the solar battery panel (20); and a buffer material (31) arranged between the solar battery panel (20) and the reinforcing frame (3). The buffer material (31) has a flat first main surface facing the solar battery panel (20), and a curved second main surface, which faces the reinforcing frame (3), curves in the longitudinal direction of the reinforcing frame (3) and has an arc-shaped across-section protruding to the side of the reinforcing frame (3).
