The invention provides an intelligent monitoring device of a power transmission line with ultralow power consumption. The intelligent monitoring device is composed of a system CPU (Central Processing Unit), an SD (Secure Digital) card memorizer, a GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) module and a ZigBee module, wherein the system CPU is respectively connected with the SD card memorizer, the GPRS module and the ZigBee module. With the adoption of the system CPU with the ultralow power consumption, the system can be switched between a sleep mode and an awakening mode in due time; meanwhile, the opening/closing of peripheral equipment can be controlled by adopting software and the peripheral equipment is started only if an operation module is needed; then the module is closed after a task is finished or the time is out, so that the system is reliably operated, the power consumption of the system is reduced and the aim of the ultralow power consumption is achieved.
