The invention discloses a short flax fiber degumming and bleaching process. The process has the following beneficial effects: not only does the process have good degumming and bleaching effects, but also the short flax fibers are characterized in that the short flax fibers can be used for spinning medium/high count yarns; and a simple and effective way is provided for utilization of the short flax spun fibers.
