Disclosed is a fuel injection valve (30) comprising: a nozzle body (31) with nozzles (32) equipped to the tip thereof; and a needle (33) slideably provided inside the nozzle body (31) which both forms a fuel induction path (34) in a gap between same and the nozzle body (31), and is provided with a seating section (33a) which can be seated at a seating position (31a) inside the nozzle body (31). The fuel injection valve (30) also comprises: a swirl flow generation section (36) formed upstream of the seat section (33a) of the needle (33) by a helical channel (36a) which imparts a rotational component to fuel induced by the fuel induction path (34); an air induction path (37) formed inside the needle; and a swirl flow stabilisation chamber (45) formed at the tip of the nozzle body (31) which receives the fuel which has passed through the swirl flow generation section (36) and the air which has passed through the air induction path (37).
