The invention discloses a novel production technology of ammonium sulfate, in particular to a novel production technology for recovering ammonium sulfate through ammonia-catalyzed desulphurization of coke-oven gas, comprising the following steps that: carrying out concentration under reduced pressure on waste water to form solid waste, wherein, the waste water is obtained through desulphurization, decyanation and decoloration of the coke-oven gas; carrying out dissolving and filterpressing on the solid waste to obtain a solid filter cake after extracting ammonium thiocyanate, then carrying out dissolving and filterpressing on the solid filter cake to obtain the filtrate, and finally carrying out condensation and centrifugation to obtain a finished product of ammonium sulfate. According to the invention, the principle of multi-system phase diagrams of aqueous solutions is used to recover ammonium sulfate successively from coke-oven gas ammonia liquid phase catalyzed waste water, thus the problem of environmental pollution caused by coke-oven gas desulphurization waste water is solved, and the main components in the waste water are recovered. The invention has the advantages of simple process, practical and reliable technique, and low cost, thus the production cost is greatly reduced, and the environmental pollution is reduced.
