The invention discloses a three-dimensional signboard which comprises an upper unit and a lower unit which are connected; the upper unit comprises a main part for reflecting the identification shape of the three-dimensional signboard; the lower unit comprises side walls connected with the main part, and the side walls encircle a cavity for supporting the main part; connecting parts are arranged between the main part and the side walls, and each connecting part comprises a plurality of stacked step layers; and each step layer comprises an upper step plate and a lower step plate which are connected. The invention also provides a making method of the signboard. The signboard has strong third dimension and a predominant display effect at night, is durable and is easily identified; and by using the making method, the process is simple, materials are saved, and the made signboard is more attractive.
