The present invention provides a 3D modeling apparatus for properly performing a 3D modeling on a subject. An accepting unit (11) is configured to accept a plurality of sets of images that are obtained by capturing a subject at different angles for many times using a stereo camera. A generator (12) is configured to generate a plurality of 3D models of the subject based on the sets of images. A selector (13) is configured to select a combined 3D model and a combining 3D model. A divider (14) is configured to divide the selected combining 3D model into a plurality of combining regions. A specifying unit (15) is configured to specify a plurality of combined regions in the combined 3D model, wherein each of the combined regions corresponds to one of the combining regions. An acquiring unit (16) is configured to acquire a plurality of coordinate transformation parameters for superimposing each of the combining regions on the corresponding combined regions. A transformation unit (17) is configured to transform coordinates of the combining regions based on the plurality of coordinate transformation parameters. An updating unit (18) is configured to combine the plurality of combining regions having the transformed coordinates on the plurality of combined regions.
