The present invention aims to provide a navigation device including: a map information acquisition unit (31) which acquires map information; an HOV lane check unit (38) which checks whether an HOV lane is contained in the road indicated by the map information acquired by the map information acquisition unit (31); a road number processing unit (43) which adds information indicating an HOV lane to the road number of the road containing the HOV lane if the HOV lane check unit (38) has determined that the HOV lane is contained; a display processing unit (44) which displays the road number processed by the road number processing unit (43) in a guide map; and an audio guide unit (46) which gives an audio guide.
