The invention discloses a mortise lock with selective functions. The mortise lock comprises a shell, a locking bolt, at least one plunger latch bolt, a shaft hub, a starting receiver for plunger latch striking operation and a starting receiver for emergency operation, wherein the shaft hub is mechanically connected with the locking bolt through a locking follower, and the locking bolt is retracted by the rotation of the shaft hub; when a plunger latch striking starting member is arranged in the starting receiver, the locking bolt is mechanically connected with the at least one plunger latch bolt, so that the locking bolt is retracted to a shell to release a latch so as to allow the at least one plunger latch bolt to extend out of the shell and enter a plunger latch position; when the plunger latch striking starting member is not arranged in the starting receiver, the locking bolt is not mechanically connected with the at least one plunger latch bolt, so that the locking bolt is retracted to the shell and the movement of the at least one plunger latch bolt is not realized; when an emergency starting member is installed in the starting receiver, the shaft hub is mechanically connected with the at least one plunger latch bolt, so that the shaft hub is rotated to retract the at least one plunger latch bolt; and when the emergency starting member is not installed in the starting receiver, the shaft hub is not mechanically connected with the at least one plunger latch bolt, so that the movement of the at least one plunger latch bolt is not realized by rotating the shaft hub.
