The invention relates to a method for producing a steel wire rope composite cable. The method is characterized in that a steel wire is compacted wound on outer screw of a cable, wherein the diameter of the steel wire is between 1.5 and 4mm; a plurality of steel wire rope strands are arranged outside the steel wire; the strands of the steel wire rope has a single-strand mode, a multi-strand mode and a single-strand and multi-strand combination mode; when the steel wire rope strand is of single-strand, the strand is set to be 1 to 4 layers, and the lay pitch multiple is between 7.0 and 12, and the lay angle in each layer is the same; when the steel wire rope strand is of multi-strand, the strand is set to be 1 to 2 layers, and the lay pitch multiple is between 6.5 and 9; when the steel wirerope strand is of a single-strand and multi-strand combination mode, the single-strand is set to be 1 to 2 layers, the multi-strand is set to be 1 to 2 layers, and the inner single-strand lay pitch multiple is 7.0 to 12, and the outer multi-strand lay pitch multiple is 6.5 to 9; and the multi-strand steel wire rope strand is of wire contact or a compact strand structure in a wire contact mode. The method has the advantages that a cable for transmitting signals in long-distance is protected inside the steel wire rope, and the comprehensive stress performance of the cable is improved.
