A cutting device (100) conveys a web (200) between a die roll (10) and an anvil roll (20), and cuts continuous sections (210) of the web (200). The cutting device (100) is provided with a continuous section conveying means (30) which immobilizes and conveys the continuous sections (210), and a non-continuous section conveying means (40) which immobilizes and conveys non-continuous sections (220). The die roll (10) has a first large-diameter component (12) with a cutting blade (15) provided on the circumferential surface thereof for cutting the continuous sections (210). The anvil roll (20) has a second large-diameter component (22) facing the first large-diameter component (12). The continuous section conveying means (30) supplies the continuous sections (210) to a pressure-contact region (T). The non-continuous section conveying means (40) causes the non-continuous sections (220) to pass through the die roll (10) and the anvil roll (20) without making contact therewith.
