The invention discloses a device for realizing a function of grouping important calls on a mobile phone, an application method thereof, and a mobile phone terminal which applies the device and the method. The method comprises the following steps: setting an import call function by establishing important call groups; checking whether the important call function is started when receiving a call or a short message; if the import call function is started, prompting a user in a prompting mode set by an important call setting unit; and if the important call function is not started, processing in the mode set by a current phone profile. Therefore, the user cannot miss import calls when the communication is smooth; and better usage experience is brought to the user.
