The present invention discloses a cosmetic container. The cosmetic container comprises a container body (20) with a containing part (21) for containing cosmetics, a cover (30) or lid (30a) which is combined with the container body (20) and includes an inner casing part (31) and an outer casing part (32) for forming a gap that surrounds a portion of the inner casing part (31), and a decorative part. The decorative part comprises: a film (41) with at least one light-transmitting pattern which is installed in a space between the inner casing part (31) and the outer casing part (32) and is arranged at the inner front side of the outer casing part (32); at least one light emitting unit (50) which is arranged at the rear side of the film (41) and irradiates light to the pattern (42) of the film; a power unit (43) for supplying electric power for light emission to the light emitting unit (50); and a control unit (60) which is connected to the power unit (43) and light emitting unit (50) respectively and controls the light emitting units electrically. The present invention exhibits decorative effects of displaying specific patterns of the film to the outside in various forms by the light emitting unit of the decorative part.
