The invention discloses a charging method of local IP (Internet Protocol) access, comprising the following steps of: arranging an interface between a mobility management network element and an AAA server; sending collected charging relevant information to the mobility management network element by a wireless side network element; transmitting the received charging relevant information to the AAA server by the mobility management network element through the arranged interface; and generating a CDR (Call Detail Record) by the AAA server according to the received charging relevant information and sending the generated CDR to a charging system so as to complete the charging of the local IP access. The invention also discloses the charging system of the local IP access. The invention can be used for charging the local IP access.
