The overtube de-aeration prevention valve unit (1) has an internal space (42) wherein an endoscope can be freely inserted and extracted and is attached in a freely detachable manner to the base end (43) of an overtube (4) that is inserted into the body cavity. The overtube de-aeration prevention valve unit (1) has a frame (3) that is attached to the outer surface (44) of the base end (43) of the overtube (4), a hook catch (2) that is provided on the frame (3) and that hooks on the outer surface (44) of the base end (43) in a freely unhookable manner, and a valve element (5) that is provided inside the frame (3). The valve element (5) has a ring-shaped endoscope insertion part that is provided roughly in the center of the valve element (5) and is mounted around the endoscope and a flexibletelescoping means that is provided around the endoscope insertion part.
