Attachment for a vacuum cleaning appliance. An attachment (100) for a vacuum cleaning appliance comprises a head (102), and a handle (104) connected to the head (102). The head comprises a bristle carrier (106) having a plurality of bristles (108), and a bristle cover (112) having a plurality of apertures. A conduit (140, 146) is connectable to a vacuum cleaning appliance for conveying an air flow towards the appliance. The head (102) comprises a first suction opening (144) of the conduit and the handle comprises a second suction opening(150) of the conduit. An actuator (116) effects relative movement between the bristle carrier (106) and the bristle cover (112) from a stowed configuration in which the bristles (108) are retracted relative to the bristle cover (112) to a deployed configuration in which the bristles (108) protrude from the bristle cover (112) through the apertures.
