The invention discloses a rear-mounted brake with low wind resistance, which is arranged at the rear side of a front fork pipe. The cross section of the clamping arm of the brake is approximately in a reducing tapered cone-shaped structure facing to the direction away from the direction of front fork pipe, and is approximately in a reducing cone-shaped structure facing to the direction adjacent to the direction of the clamping arm of the brake in cooperation with the cross section of the front fork pipe; and the back surface of the front fork pipe is approximately in a reducing tapered cone-shaped structure longitudinally facing to the pin-connection direction away from the direction of pin-connected part of the clamping arm of the brake. The front fork pipe is in contact fixation with the clamping arm of the brake by a supporting plane so that the front fork pipe is wider than each clamping arm of the brake, and the wind resistance is reduced, counterflow of cyclone is avoided, and the speed is increased when a rider races. The brake is arranged at the rear side of the front fork pipe, the distance (L) between the centre widths of the shaft tubes on both sides of the front fork pipe ranges from 59mm to 63mm, and the distance (H) between the center heights of the shaft tubes on both sides and the shaft sleeve of the pin-connected part of the clamping arm of the brake ranges from 60mm to 70mm.
