The invention relates to a method for carrying out estimation and compensation on a frequency offset generated in the high-speed mobile environment in a mobile communication, which circularly carries out the following steps: the first step of judging whether to meet the set requirements of a link quality threshold according to a record of data signal-to-noise ratios after the previous N times of frequency offset estimation and compensation, and entering the second step if yes, or entering the third step; the second step of adopting a history frequency offset smoothing method to carry out estimation and compensation on a frequency offset value; and the third step of adopting a multiple branching frequency offset calculation method to carry out frequency offset estimation and compensation and selecting the frequency offset value corresponding to the branch of the maximum signal-to-noise ratio to carry out data compensation. The method effectively estimates the relative frequency offset between a base station and a terminal, improves the estimation and compensation range of a receiver on the frequency offset, and increases the capacity of carrying out frequency offset estimation and compensation of the base station and the terminal.
