The invention relates to a device for sealing a bearing, in particular to a sealing device which is used for a supporting roller bearing of an active lime rotary kiln and prevents the leakage of lubricant. The sealing device comprises a whole end cover which is internally provided with a lip sealing ring. The sealing device is characterized in that the whole end cover is provided with a dismountable through cover; the whole end cover is also provided with an installation spigot; the shape of the lip sealing ring interface is a dovetail groove; and an O-shaped sealing ring is added on the external side of the lip sealing ring and in the dismountable through cover. The sealing device is used for sealing the supporting roller bearing of the rotary kiln, can effectively prevent the leakage of the lubricant in the bearing, has good sealing effect, simple structure and high installation precision, and is convenient and quick for installation.
