The invention discloses a device for washing and cooling chlorine, comprising a chlorine water cleaning solution pump, a liquid outlet of which is communicated with a chlorine water liquid inlet of a chlorine water cooler, and a water inlet and a water outlet of the chlorine water cooler are communicated with a cooling water circulation system; an input end of the chlorine water cleaning solution pump is communicated with the lower part of a chlorine circulation groove, and the longitudinal section of the chlorine circulation groove is a convex shape; the top of the chlorine circulation groove is provided with a chlorine outlet, a chlorine cooling device is communicated with the upper part of the chlorine circulation groove, and the chlorine cooling device is a thickened pipe arranged inside a chlorine transmission pipeline; the diameter of the thickened pipe is larger than that of the chlorine transmission pipeline, and the thickened pipe is arranged to be inclined towards the chlorine circulation groove and internally provided with a spray head which is communicated with a chlorine water liquid outlet of the chlorine water cooler. The device not only saves investment, but also reduces land occupation and has high cooling efficiency; furthermore, the device is not limited by a washing tower and improves the production capacity of chlor-alkali production single line.
