Provided is a string fastening tool comprising sliders having string passing holes, and a case arranging the sliders to slide from the openings on the end-face sides to the inside space and having windows formed in two opposed faces and enabled to communicate with the passing holes, so that the strings can be retained and prevented from coming out by moving the positions of the through holes relative to the windows through the slides of the sliders from the state, in which the pull-side end portions are threaded into the windows and the passing holes. The string fastening tool is constituted of three members of the case and the paired sliders. The case has the inside space and the windows on the two sides. The sliders are independently arranged in the spaces on the two sides, and each slider has two through holes at two portions. The end portions of the strings are led in different directions and threaded through the windows of the corresponding sides and the individual through holes,and are pulled in the different directions so that the individual sliders can be slid to retain the end portions of the strings.
