A flexible fiber felt is characterized by consisting of ceramic fiber, an organic bonding agent and an additive. The flexible fiber felt comprises the following components by weight: 40 to 80 portions of the ceramic fiber, 1 to 80 portions of the organic bonding agent and 0.5 to 5 portions of the additive; and a production process for the flexible fiber felt comprises the following steps: 1, slurry preparation; 2, deslagging; 3, molding; 4, vacuum suction filter; and 5, drying to obtain a finished product. The flexible fiber felt has the advantages that: 1, the fiber felt has good flexibility, can be folded and bent randomly in each direction, and can randomly package and wrap equipment and parts along with shapes of the equipment and the parts when used in construction; the rebound rate of the product at normal temperature can reach 100 percent; the flexible fiber felt can be processed and manufactured into sealing materials with various shapes or other special products; the product has good flexibility and resilience; and the fiber felt has good elasticity, and when the fiber felt is used as the sealing material, the good resilience of the fiber felt makes the sealing effect ensured.
