The invention discloses an ion mobility spectrometry detection method, which acquires an ion mobility spectrometry when pure carrier gas is sampled and an ion mobility spectrometry containing test substance samples, and performs differential processing on the ion mobility spectrometry when the pure carrier gas is sampled and the ion mobility spectrometry containing the test substance samples so as to obtain a differential spectrometry, wherein the characteristic peak of the differential spectrometry represents attributes of the substance samples, and avoids the interference of a self interfering resource of an instrument on the mobility spectrometry so as to improve the detection sensitivity and the accuracy of the ion mobility spectrometry; and the method can find and correct the shift of the mobility spectrometry caused by the change of environmental conditions through the differential processing on the pure carrier gas mobility spectrometry so as to realize the self stabilization and self correction of the ion mobility spectrometry. The invention also discloses an ion mobility spectrometry detector and an ion mobility spectrometry adopting the method.
