The present invention relates to a safe washing machine, capable of easily opening and closing the door by an user, and preventing accidents from being happened due to the open/close of the door. washing machine includes a cabinet, a roller mounted rotatablely in the cabinet, the door with a latch selectively opened or closed to expose the inner of the roller outside the washing machine, and a door switch component set to open/close the door. The door switch component includes a switch unit for implementing a selective connection with the latch and an opening operation unit separated from theswitch unit to disconnect the connection of the latch and the switch unit by the user.
