The invention discloses a roll forging technology, namely, a roll forging method for roll forging super-long shaft parts in sections, comprising the following steps: the length of the roll forging part exceeds the maximum permissible length of a roll forging machine; firstly, first roll forging and second roll forging form the rear half part of the roll forging part, namely the first roll forgingsquashes the rear half part of the roll forging part, and the second roll forging rounds the squashed part of the rear half part of the roll forging part; then, third roll forging and fourth roll forging form the front half part of the roll forging part, namely the third roll forging squashes the front half part of the roll forging part, and the fourth roll forging rounds the squashed part of thefront half part of the roll forging part; a first effective roll forging die and a second effective roll forging die are arranged behind a starting cushion block; and a third effective roll forging die and a fourth effective roll forging die are arranged at a starting position so as to ensure the rear half part of the roll forging part to be deformed before the front half part of the roll forgingpart. The whole forming process has two times of forming and four times of roll forging. The technology uses the existing smaller roll forging machine for roll forging super-long roll forging parts, and does not need to purchase larger roll forging machine so as to save the economic cost.
