The method comprises the following steps: database is established for storing and managing data correlative to the annual running mode of the power grid; normalized reports and report form templates are designed and generated; and according to calculation tasks, calculation data is generated automatically to analyze calculation work procedures and organize calculation tasks in an annual mode. The method supports multiuser cooperative work, and dynamically optimizes and distributes calculation resources according to the number of login users, the running condition of computer cluster nodes, calculation tasks and other information. By using a distributed parallel computing technique, on the basis of electric power system safety and stability quantitative analysis theory, the method automatically carries out calculation, analyzes calculation results in an automatic mode and a summarized mode, automatically generates normalized annual running mode reports of the power grid, safety and stability analysis calculation reports, reactive voltage analysis calculation reports and short-circuit current analysis calculation reports, and enhances the automation degree, efficiency and level of annual compiling work of the power grid.
