The invention discloses a resource-based method for treating carvone production wastewater, which comprises the following steps: firstly, performing coagulating sedimentation pretreatment on synthetic wastewater and performing dissolved air flotation pretreatment on exsolution and washing mixed wastewater by a quality-divided pretreatment method so as to remove oil pollutants and suspended impurities; and secondly, homogenizing the two types of wastewater, performing source-based comprehensive treatment by a resin absorption technique, and separating, enriching and recycling the main organic substance carvoxime (organic substances are not absorbed) from the wastewater. The COD of the carvone comprehensive wastewater after the pretreatment is reduced to be less than 30,000 milligrams per liter after the resin absorption pretreatment to create a condition for the subsequent biochemical treatment and standard-attainment discharge; and simultaneously, the carvoxime in the wastewater is recycled. The resin saturated after the absorption can be completely desorbed by acetone, and the desorption liquid which is rectified to recycle the acetone can be separated to recycle the carvoxime. The method is helpful for the subsequent standard-attainment control of the wastewater, and has remarkable environmental value and economic benefit.
