The invention relates to a weeding composition, which is characterized by comprising oxadiazon and butralin as active components, wherein the weight ratio of the oxadiazon to the butralin is 1:0.5-50; and the active components are prepared into pesticides such as missible oil, powder, suspending agents, and the like which contains 1 to 90 percent of active components by adopting a general preparation method. The weeding composition has a reasonable formulation, is applicable to various farm crops, in particular to peanut fields, has higher preventive effect on monogenus and dicotyledonous weeds than the prospective preventive effect of mixed use thereof, has obvious synergism, simultaneously the preparation method is simple, the application is convenient, the cost is reduced, and the generation of weed drug resistance and weed community succession is retarded and controlled. The weeding composition is the perfect herbicide for the monogenus and dicotyledonous weeds for the current peanut fields.
