The invention provides a key panel structure of an electronic device, which comprises a soft surface layer, a hard layer, a back adhesive layer, a light guide layer and a soft bottom layer. The surface of the soft surface layer is provided with a key outline, key patterns are printed on the hard layer, a light guide outline is printed on the bottom face of the light guide layer, a holding portion is formed on the soft bottom layer, and the soft surface layer, the hard layer, the back adhesive layer, the light guide layer and the soft bottom layer are sequentially lapped while the key outline, the key patterns, the light guide outline and the holding portion are disposed correspondingly. The key panel has fine visual effect and key touching. The invention further provides a method for manufacturing the key panel structure.
