The present invention provides a cutting bar for dental use which is to be attached to a rotary driving device such as handpieces whereby both of the dentin and enamel layers can be unanesthetically and efficiently cut using a single cutting bar without causing any pain or unpleasant sensation in a patient. In particular, it is intended to provide a cutting bar for dental use whereby the problem of the unpleasant sensation in a patient caused by the contact of cutting blades under rotation at a low speed with the hard enamel layer located at the surface layer of a tooth in the course of cutting carious dentin can be fundamentally overcome. A cutting bar (1) for dental use having a head part (2) provided with cutting blades (6), a neck part (3) connected to the head part (2) and a handle part (4) connected to the neck part (3) via a junction part (5), characterized in that diamond grinding particles are electrodeposited in a definite area located between the maximum diameter part (8) of the head part (2) as described above and the neck part (3).
