The invention relates to a method for producing more white oil by hydrogenation of distillate oil, which comprises the following steps: a) hydrocarbon oil feed contacts hydrotreating catalyst in a hydrotreating reaction unit, and oil which is subjected to C5+ hydrotreating is obtained after separation; b) the oil which is subjected to C5+ hydrotreating contacts dewaxing catalyst in a dewaxing reaction unit, and dewaxed oil the pour point of which is reduced is prepared; and c) the dewaxed oil contacts reduced metallic hydrogenation catalyst in a hydrorefining unit, and the white oil product is obtained after separation, wherein the hydrotreating reaction unit comprises at least two sequentially connected reaction regions I and II; and due to selection of the catalyst and the reaction conditions of the reaction region I and the reaction region II, the yield of the separated oil which is subjected to C5+ hydrotreating is more than 85 weight percent, the sulfur content of the oil is less than 50 micrograms per gram, and the nitrogen content of the oil is less than 10 micrograms per gram. When the method provided by the invention is adopted for producing the white oil, the limitation on the hydrocarbon oil feed is small and the yield of target product is high.
