A method for preparing the drug for external use for preventing the cardiovascular diseases comprises the following steps: 2 portions to 4 portions of the phenylformic acid, 2 portions to 4 portions of the salicylic acid and 1 portion to 3 portions of the 2, 4, 6-trinitrotoluene are taken and added with Vaseline to reach 100 portions, and then evenly stirred and concocted into a paste preparation by a proper amount of alcohol. The drug has marvelous curative effect on cardiovascular diseases such as viral myocarditis, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, rheumatic heart disease, hypertrophic dilated rheumatic heart failure and the like, without toxic and side effect or untoward effect.
