The invention relates to a method for processing image correcting faults of displays, in particular to a method for solving pincushion calibration faults of the displays, which comprises the following steps: when the phenomenon of the pincushion distortion faults occurs, entering an IIC bus adjusting mode to adjust the corresponding parameters in the IIC bus, recording related data of a horizontal amplitude, a horizontal center, a horizontal linearity and the horizontal pincushion, then entering the related parameters to adjust, when the adjustment is null and void, all the parameters needs to be recovered, then checking through opening a cover, and adjusting discrete components of the earlier stage through opening the cover and the machine, and recording the original position before the adjustment, when the adjustment is null and void, recovering necessarily, and then carrying out the related check. The method improves the image displaying quality of the displays with big screens.
