The present invention provides an electrode, an electrode assembly and manufacturing method thereof, a pezizoid electrode and wire lead which are tightly butt fusion to a cold-cathode discharge tube. The electrode assembly is provided with a circular side wall (4), an electrode (2) for sealing the floor (5) of one end of the side wall (4) and lead wire (3) which is arranged on a same axis with the side wall and fixed into a dent (6) of the electrode (2). The floor (5) is equipped with processes (7) which lead the central part to have maximum thickness, thereby forming the floor (5) with a thickness of shape near to complementary Gaussian distribution, thus can prevent the welding part of the lead wire (3) and the floor (5) from local hot spot, and can heat to integrally weld the welding part of the lead wire (3) and the floor (5) with more even temperature.
