The invention provides a method for knitting socks or gloves with finger bags, which is capable of maintaining the finger root to be a overlap condition all the time while achieving the knitting. Disclosed is a knitting method of the socks or gloves with finger bags using a flat machine in such a manner that the adjacent finger bags are overlapped at the position of the finger root. The knitting method comprises the steps that: firstly, the border parts, which knitting directions are at the same side on two adjacent cylindrical parts, are disposed on a front or a behind needle bed, the other border parts are arranged on the other needle bed to bind the two cylindrical parts at the finger root forming position, thus a new cylindrical part integrating the two cylindrical parts as a whole isformed; secondly, the binding mesh for binding and overlapping the finger root part of the two cylindrical parts is lapped with the mesh near the knitting width direction of the former binding mesh to form a lapped mesh, and subsequently the meshes continuous to the lapped mesh are knitted, whereby, the mesh near the knitting width direction of the binding mesh is selected from the meshes which are at the opposite directions clamp the finger root part by each other.
