The invention discloses a multi-cyclone dust separation apparatus comprising a cyclone unit including a first cyclone and a plurality of second cyclones and also comprising a dust collection unit. The first cyclone is arranged to vertically dispose along a longitudinal axial line thereof approximately. The first cyclone separates the relatively large dust or dirt from the air inhaled by a first air inhalation part. Each of the plurality of second cyclones is arranged to vertically dispose along the longitudinal axial line thereof approximately and includes a second air inhalation part to communicate with the first cyclone and an air discharging part to discharge the air. The second cyclones separate the relatively small dust or dirt from the air inhaled by a second air inhalation part. The dust collection unit is provided below the cyclone unit to serve to collect and store the dust and dirt separated by the cyclone unit from the air.
