The invention provides a push button having a traveling contact (14) and an exciter (15). The traveling contact is provided with an annular part (14B) with a circular central hole (14A); four feet inclined to an inclined lower part through an inflexion part (14D) from a peripheral end of the annular part (14B) in an extending manner; the side of the circular central hole (14A) is protruding upwards; in the exciter (15), the lower end of a flat slab part (15A) leans against the traveling contact (14) at the position closer to the inner side than that of the inflexion part (14D), and an operation part (15B) with a diameter less than that of the contact position is mounted on the flat slab part (15A); therefore, good click feeling can be obtained conveniently even if undergoing pressing operation for an operation part at a off-centered position.
