The invention relates to a method used for recycling the refractory material (osmotic brick), and in particular relates to a method using the osmotic brick material to manufacture low-porosity clay bricks. The osmotic brick material is separated for removing impurities, then, is boiled in water and dried after being washed for 2 to 3 times, and then is respectively cut into particles not larger than 5 mm and fine powder of 180 to 200 meshes; the particles and the fine powder of the osmotic brick material, flint, flint fine powder, high alumina fine powder, soft-clay fine powder and water are fully mixed for being molded and then sintered into the low-porosity clay bricks at 1370 to 1390 DEG C. The invention enables the osmotic brick material to be re-utilized through the processing, thereby not only enabling the long-term industrial refuse to be cleaned off and utilized, protecting the environment, reducing the expense cost per ton of the low-porosity clay bricks and creating larger economic benefits, but also being beneficial to relieve the shortage problem of the national mineral resources and having tremendous socioeconomic benefits and wide market prospect.
