The invention discloses a method for evaluating the real abrasion resistance of diesel, which comprises using a plunger injection pump to inject diesel via an injector into an oil tank, circulating the oil in the oil tank via the plunger injection pump and the injector, measuring the plunger mate part pressure keeping time of the plunger injection pump after some operation, using the difference of the plunger mate part pressure keeping times before and after operation to represent the real abrasion resistance of diesel. The invention further discloses a bench test device, which mainly comprises a plunger injection pump and an oil tank driven by a drive device, wherein the oil tank via a circulating oil line is connected with the oil inlet of the plunger injection pump, and the invention further comprises a timer for testing operation time. The invention method is simple and easy, which can represent real abrasion resistance of diesel.
