The present invention provides a bicycle supporting system which can be safely and quickly installed and detached. A device and method for clamping the bicycle in a mouth component (6) which is provided with a movable paw (8) and a fixed claw (7), a high load potential in the toggle mechanism (8) and the ratchet mechanism (7) is applied to the mouth component and can trigger the releasing component (12) to quickly open the mouth component. In embodiments a multiple-dimension object holding part (9) can be located on a contacting surface of a movable jaw and fixed claw thereby commonly clamping objects with various dimensions.
