The invention relates to a lubricating wax for a surfboard and a snow ski and a preparation method thereof. The lubricating wax is produced by mixing main material of reproducible soybean wax and auxiliary material, weight ratio of which is 100 percent. The invention is characterized in that the lubricating wax and the weight ratio thereof are that: the main material of soybean wax is more than or equal to 85 percent; the rest material is auxiliary material; the auxiliary material can be any one or two or more than two of resin, ethylene wax, ceresine wax. Pigment and flavor can be added into the lubricating wax according to requirements and each 1000kg lubricating wax contains 3-5g of pigment and 100-150g of flavor. The preparation process flow of the lubricating wax is: measurement and mixture of solid materials-stirring and heating of solid materials-casting of liquid materials-cooling and curing of shaped products-mold stripping and packaging of shaped products. Slide plate lubricating wax can be made into solid series products by the process and the lubricating wax is especially applicable to synthetic wax lubicating the surface of athletic sports appliance, such as surfboard and snow ski in natural skating field.
