The invention disclosed a biological environment-friendly coal-based fuel cosolvent containing the preparation method and application for diesel fuel. The biological environment-friendly fuel cosolvent (by weight) consists of two to seven portions of alcohols and two to seven portions of fine washing oil, the physical and chemical properties of which are similar to those of the international diesel oil, some indexes even superior. Without any change to the diesel engine, the cosolvent can be used as diesel oil. Besides being used as fuel cell alone, the cosolvent can also be mixed with number0 to number 35 diesel oil at any ratio, which can not only improve combustion performances of the diesel oil but also reduce the emission of harmful substances by sufficient combustion in the cylinder block, whose dynamic performances are basically identical with those of the international diesel.
